Ranking The Best Wide Receivers 25 and Under

10. Devontae Smith Eagles (24)

The Heisman trophy winning pass catcher is making a name for himself in Philly. The Slim Reaper made an impact his rookie year he caught 64 receptions for 916 yards and 5 touchdowns. Keep in mind the Eagles had the lowest pass attempts in the league last year that means when the Eagles decided to pass Smith caught the ball and was effective. Now that Jalen Hurts has become a better passer and the addition of AJ Brown Devonate is on pace to have his first 1K yard season. He's a receiver with excellent hands and footwork and someone who will be around for a long time. Philly you guys got a good one.

9. Jerry Jeudy Denver Broncos (24)

When Jerry Jeudy was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the 2020 NFL draft I thought he was the best receiver in the draft even over CeeDee Lamb. Coming out of school Jerry was an elite route runner and creating seperation. I wondered how he would look with the Broncos knowing that they didn't have an elite QB. Jerry Jeudy looked pretty good his rookie season despite playing with one of the worst QB's in the league he caught 52 passes for 856 yards and 3 touchdowns. He had some injuries after his rookie season kept him from being elite. We all thought he would reach his potential this year when Russel Wilson was traded to the Broncos but he decided too have the worst year of his career. Before the trade deadline he was linked too competative teams like the Ravens and Giants but no team decided too make a trade for him. So until he has an elite Quaterback he'll be a talented receiver but won't be looked at as Elite.

8. CeeDee Lamb Cowboys (23)

The explosive playmaker was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys with the 17th pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was so sure Lamb was going to be big time that he insisted that he wear number 88 a legendary number for the Cowboys franchise. His rookie season he was outstanding he caught 79 passes for 1,102 yards and had 6 touchdowns. Since then he has shown flashes of brilliance and stretches of inconsistency. Last Sunday CeeDee had his flash of brilliance with 11 receptions for 150 yards. If this becomes a trend and not a blimp Lamb will become a superstar.

7. Tee Higgins Bengals (23)

I always say Tee Higgins is the best number 2 receiver in the league he just happens to play on a team with Jamar Chase. Standing at 6'4 he is a perfect red zone threat as he uses his height too get 50/50 balls. He also has enough speed to go run by you. He's a well rounded receiver. He had his first 1k yard season last year along with 6 TD passes. This year with Chase out they need him to raise his level of play and become a number 1 receiver for the time being.

6. DJ Moore Panthers (25)

One of the older players on the list DJ Moore has three straight years of 1K yards. Last year had 93 receptions that's pretty impressive and what's more impressive is he is doing this without a solid QB and a receiving core where he gets most of the attention. Everyone knows where the ball is going and he still finds away too make an impact. Once he gets a good Quaterback he can be a top ten receiver in the game.

5. Jaylen Waddle Dolphins (23)

Jaylen Waddle has won me a tone of fantasy games this year his explosive playmaking has landed him a top five spot on this list. Coming out of Alabama Waddle was looked at as a top 2 wide out in the draft. So far he has not disappointed. During his rookie season he caught 104 passes for 1,015 yards and 6 touchdowns. This year he is looking to blow those numbers out of the water. Through ten games he has caught 52 passes for 878 yards and 6 touchdowns with 7 games to go. At only 23 years old he has a great future ahead of him and with Tyreek Hill beside him and Tua playing the way he and the Dolphins can make a deep playoff run.

4. DK Metcalf Seahawks (24)

One of the most physically gifted players in the NFL. Dk looks like an action figure. DK is also one of the fastest players in the league he ran 10.36 seconds for the 2020 Track and Field Golden games. That's very impressive for a football player. He had his best year in 2020 83 receptions for 1300 yards and ten touchdowns. That season he set the Seahawks for most receiving yards in a season and the most most receiving yards by a rookie in a playoff game with 160 yards against the Eagles. The next year he had inconsistency at QB as Russel Wilson was hurt so his numbers took a slight dip with 75 receptions 967 yards but 12 touchdowns instead of ten. This year Geno Smith has been better than anyone would have thought. Dk is on his way too having another really good year with 48 receptions and 581 yards and 4 TD's. If he ever becomes a more consistent rout runner the sky is the limit.

3. AJ Brown Eagles (24)

Just like DK Metcalf AJ Brown is a big strong physical receiver with tremendous speed. I think what separates them is AJ Brown's ability too create separation with his route running. AJ played in a predominantly running based offense with the Titans. I mean when you have Derrick Henry why would you not run the ball that still didn't stop AJ from getting 1K yards in his rookie year and sophmore season. Once he was traded too the Eagles this past off season the Eagles took there offense too the next level. He has worked miracles for QB Jalen Hurts providing him with a big body playmaking deep threat. This combination is giving Philly fans flashback of Donavan Mcnabb and TO. Hopefully they have the success they had while having a long successful relationship.

2. Jamarr Chase Bengals (22)

You could argue Chase had one of the greatest rookie seasons for a wide receiver in NFL history. He took off with 81 receptions 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns. He and his LSU teammate led the Cincinnati Bengals to the Super Bowl. That sentence didn't even sound right. In all my life I would have never thought the Bengals would have ever been in the Super Bowl. But with the addition of Chase it was possible. In my opinion Chase is the best player on the Bengals. They go as he goes. He can just change the course of the game in a blink of an eye. He has every tool to become not only the best receiver in the league but the best player in the world. Fast, strong, explosive, great hands and has the ability to jump and get 50/50 balls over elite conerbacks in the league. With Chase the Bengals are a serious contender without him they are beatable.

1 .Justin Jefferson Vikings (23)

The nicest Wide Out on the grid iron is the artist formally known as JJETTAS! Justin Jefferson! The dynamic playmaking pass catcher is amazing. His rookie year he was determined too make an impact. He did more than just that he caught 88 passes for 1,400 yards and 7 touchdowns. He followed that up with an even better sophomore season. He caught 108 passes for 1,616 yards and 10 touchdowns. Both seasons he was All Pro second team. Viking fans were wondering how could Stephon Diggs be replaced and Jefferson has turned himself into a top 5 receiver in the league. This season he has an argument as the best receiver in the league. The Vikings have a 7-1 record and Jefferson is a big reason why. Through 9 games Jefferson has accumulated 1,060 yards and 69 receptions. He also just made what some people think is the greatest catch of all time. On the road 4th quarter down 4. Jefferson came up clutch with a breath taking 1 handed catch too save the game. When in trouble Kirk Cousins looked Jefferson's way he back with one hand and snatched the ball as a defender was draped all over him. Moments like this are what make players legendary. I think Jefferson has the potential too be an all time great.
