NFL WEEK 7 POWER RANKINGS

10. Rams

The defending champions don't look like they can compete for a championship. They can't run the ball effectively. Coach Mcvay has lost faith in Cam Akers as he seems to be in the dog house. Last year Matthew Stafford lead the league in interceptions. Well this year he is looking to do that again as he is second in interceptions. On offense they rely too much on Cooper Kupp rightfully so he is a top five receiver in the league but they need more production from their other receivers like Allen Robinson and their tight end Tyler Higbee. Although their defense hasn't looked the best I believe they will get better over time. Aaron Donald is still dominating up front and Jalen Ramsey is still elite at corner. The Rams too my eye are still the best in the division because of there continuity and defense at the end of the day the champs have a fighting chance.

9. Titans

Coming into the season I didn't think the Titans would make the playoffs. I thought the Colts were going to win the division due too signing Matt Ryan in the off season who looked like he had another good year in him. But he clearly does not. The Titans drafted Malik Willis in hopes too replace Ryan Tannehil who started off this year rocky but got it together. This Sunday against the Colts this team played with heart on defense limiting Johnathan Taylor too 58 yards. Derrick Henryhad a monster game 30 carries for 130 yards, If the Titans can play good defense, run the ball and Ryan Tannehil doesn't turn it over this team can be a contender.

8. Bengals

After a rocky start to the season the Bengals are starting to hit their stride. The Bengals as a unit have the best weapons in football Jamar Chase, Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, Joe Mixon and Hayden Hurts any team would love too have any of those players and Joe Burrow has them all to his disposal. Last week the Bengals destroyed the Falcons Joe Burrow put on a show throwing for 481 yards and three touchdowns. The Bengals defense is also top 5 against the pass and top 5 against the run. If they keep improving the Bengals can make a Super Bowl run just like last year,.

7. Ravens

The Ravens are the most inconsistent tea m in the league. They have had a 10 point lead in all 6 of the games they have had and lost in 3 of those games. The great Bill Parcel once said you are what your record is? The Ravens record tells me they are very talented and have potential to be a Super Bowl team but they are inconsistent and struggle to get stops consistently as well as score in the second half. I think the Ravens will get it together and make a run too win the division as they are in first place currently.Lamar Jackson is 3rd in TD passing and fifth in rushing this offense will get better in the weeks too coming with the returning of Rashad Bateman and addidtion of Gus Edwards back from injury who looked great Sunday. The best for the Ravens is yet to come especially if their defense continues to improve.

6. Cowboys

This Cowboys defense is as serious as it gets. Micah Parsons is showing why he has a potential too be a pantheon great. Demarcus Lawrence is a beast as he is not only sacking the QB but stopping the run and Trevon Diggs is once again among the leaders in interceptions. Without Dak Prescot the Cowboys were able to remain afloat winning 5 games in his absence. Now that he has returned the sky is the limit for this team. In the past the Dallas Cowboys worst enemy has always been the Dallas Cowboys. There is no more excuses for Dak Prescott he has all the weapons and a great defense too make a Super Bowl. Time will tell if he and the rest of the Cowboys are equipped for the challenge.

5. Giants

The New York Football Giants are one hell of a football team. Saquon Barkley is finally healthy snd is showing the NFL why he is a superstar. Simply put Saquon Barkley is the best running back prospect since Adrian Peterson. He in a lot of ways reminds fans of Barry Sander with his ability to make defenders miss while also being able to run guys over. He's the best running back in the league because not only can he win you games as the bell cow back but he's a great threat in the pass game. Daniel Jones is turning into one of the most underrated Quaterbacks in the league. He cut down on the turnovers and can make any throw on the field with time. This defense is playing out of their minds under the teachings of Coach Wink Martindale. They have beaten the last two MVP Quaterbacks in Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson and early in the season they took down the great Derrick Henry and that viscous running attack. The Giants are hear too stay. New York Football is back!

4.Vikings

I never believed in the Vikings because I never believed in Kirk Cousins I always thought he was a good quaterback but not someone who could make a deep playoff run. I still feel that but I believe in the Vikings as a team now more than I don't believe in Kirk Cousins. Justin Jefferson AKA the Griddy God is a top 3 receiver in football. The offense still relies on the services of Adam Theilan and Dalvin Cook. Their defense has been playing well ever since the Philly game. In a week NFC North the Vikings can get themselves a home playoff game.

3. Chiefs

When you have the best Quaterback in the league life is good. And life has been good for the Chiefs ever since Patrick Mahomes replaced Alex Smith as the starting Quaterback. A lot of people thought that because Tyreek Hill left for Miami Patrick Mahomes would not be the same they were wrong. Mahomes is playing some of the best football he has ever played. Still relying on Kelce but also getting those other guys involved like Juju, MVS and Mecole Hardman. The defense is playing better than expected and there running game is very effective. This may be the most balanced Chiefs team since the year they won the Super Bowl.

2. Eagles

The Eagles are a legit threat too win the Super Bowl. They have a top 2 defense in the league. Week in and week out they shut teams down. They get after the quaterback with Fletcher Cox and that defensive line. In the back end Darius Slay and that secondary is playing out of their mind. Jalen Hurts is playing fantastic. he's dynamic with his arm and legs. The Eagles just have so many ways they can beat you. They can run the ball with Miles Sanders and Jalen Hurts. They can pass the football too there amazing weapons Aj Brown and Dallas Goedert. Nobody wants too see this team come playoff time.

1. Bills

The Mafia is alive and well Josh Allen is the boss of the family and his capos follow his lead. This team is built near perfectly. Great defense, great QB, great receiving core and great coaching. The only thing they are missing is a complete running game. Stephon Diggs has a case to be the best receiver in the league and Josh Allen is looking too over take Patrick Mahomes as the best QB in the league. If he keeps winning he just might. It just feels like it's the Bills year they jump on teams and blow them out in embarrassing fashion and now they have proven they can win close games. Good luck stopping this team.
