Can The Ravens Burry The Desperate Bengals?

The AFC North is the best division in football by far. Every team in this division is over .500. Every team in this division has a great defense. The Browns have the best defense in football there D-line is sensational. Myles Garret is a superstar and the favorite for defensive player of the year, Za'Darius Smith is a great addition to that defense and Denzel Ward is one of the best corner backs in the NFL. Jim Schwartz has those boys balling and last Sunday Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense gave that game away. Lamar throws a pick six to Greg Newsome helping the Browns take all of the momentum. The NFL is a week to week league, one week you're the MVP favorite and everyone has your team in the Super Bowl but once you lose you're overrated and you don't deserve the money that the Ravens paid you. That's the reality for Lamar Jackson and the Ravens there's no room for blown fourth quarter leads especially in this division. The Bengals themselves have had their fair share of disappointing losses. Just last Sunday they lost to a young Houston Texans team led by Rookie of the Year lock and MVP candidate CJ Stroud. Stroud sliced up the Bengals defense throwing for 356 yards and a TD. Demeco Ryans had a great defensive game plan for Joe Burrow and that high powered offense. The Texans forced the Bengals into tuff situations and even forced Joe to throw two uncharacteristic fourth quarter interceptions.

This is a big game for both teams. With a win the Ravens they can get one step closer to controlling there own destiny. The Ravens have a chance to go 3-2 in the division, sweep the season series with the Bengals, destroy the Bengals chances of winning the division, create some distance between them and the other two teams in the division and more importantly they can get the number 1 seed in the Conference. It takes more than a great QB, defense and coach to win a Super Bowl . To be a champion you must step up in moments, you must posses a killer instinct and games like this define your season define you as a team. The Bengals will be without some key players such as Sam Hubberd and Tee Higgins but even with those injuries the Bengals will compete at the highest level tonight. They can't afford a loss. With a loss they will be 5-5 and at the mercy of other teams to try and get a wild card spot. We have seen Joe Burrow in big games before he is usually excellent. If Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens want to get one step closer to the Super Bowl they will need to shut the door on the Bengals tonight. Thursday Night Primetime football Ravens vs Bengals, Lamar vs Joe it doesn't get any better than this!
